The Packard Hawk was introduced for the 1958 model year. The Hawk was one of the last cars produced under the Packard name, with 1958 being the last year the brand was sold. Packard cars offered in 1958 were largely rebadged Studebaker cars, with the Packard Hawk being a rebadged and lightly rebodied Studebaker Hawk. The sportiest of the 1958 Packard offerings, the Hawk was fitted with a 4.7L V8 engine, and was only offered for the 1958 model year.
