The Mercedes 600 was the pinnacle of luxury, technology, and opulence circa 1963. The majority of the interior functions were powered hydraulically - from the seats to the sunroof, as were the automatic doors and windows. These cars were purchased new by foreign leaders, celebrities, and royalty up until the final production year in 1981. They remain incredibly sought after and are still purchased by car collectors today.
